We left Ross' this afternoon on the final leg of our trip. Today it wasn't the "bumblebee" navigator who called the shots, it was Mr. "this car was made to go 130 miles per hour". Even so, with all of the traffic on the freeway, trucks in the mountains, and never-ending road construction, it took us almost six hours to get home. Of course we did stop at our favorite Mexican joint and favorite pie stand (thanks for the tip, fairies!). When we got close to Truckee, Tuna started sniffing at the window; she knew where we were.
It was dark when we entered Nevada. Three miles later we were at our Incline Village, Nevada home.
We put 3,952 miles on the Z4. It was a wonderful trip and we saw so many gorgeous places and fabulous wildlife and had good times with family. We are happy, though, to be done with driving and packing/unpacking for a while. Hmmm, we are off to Anguilla in ten days - at least we won't be driving.
